After taking a ride on quite a slow boat from China, the R8 has arrived. The stickers are still on it (for now). Still sounds and looks great … but it needs brakes.

The port that the cars will leave China from is about 90 miles from Beijing. The cars were dirty and tired after 3,000 miles on 2 continents. They tell us we won’t see the car back in California for a month. We miss it already.

Road Test Day

Trevor and I leave for the Gumball in a week so we’re spending the afternoon testing the live camera, live blogging and HiDef dash-mount cameras along with the iPod and radar detector. That’s a lot of junk for a very small cabin.
Our route is below. We’ll be taking hairpins as well as straight-aways.
